Helping a florist bloom
A great florist came to us at the end of 2023 with a simple goal: they wanted to sell more flowers. They knew their website was a key part of the business, but they needed a solid plan to turn online visitors into paying customers.

01 – The challenge
Balancing peak holiday demand with structural capacity limits
Selling flowers is competitive, and everyone wants to get a piece of the action, especially around big holidays. Flowers have a short lifespan, stock is limited, transportation isn’t always easy, and they need to be arranged manually.
So as a result, even peak sales are limited based on the workers’ capacity. Our job was to create a strategy that not only captured that peak demand but also delivered consistent, profitable sales all year long.
02 – Our approach
Hyper-targeted search intent over bloated ad spend
Starting in early 2024, we got straight to work. The client didn’t have a large budget, so we had to be selective about what would work best in their unique situation. Our strategy was focused on one thing: Google Search campaigns. With Search Campaigns you can be specific with the keywords you use which can help ensure minimal budget gets wasted on clicks that are unlikely to convert.
We didn’t bother with anything else because we knew the most valuable customers were the ones actively searching for what they needed. We built our campaigns around specific searches people were making, like:

Localised Intent
Targeting high-intent phrases like “Flower delivery [City Name]” to capture immediate geographic demand.

Milestone Gifting
Capturing ready-to-buy shoppers searching for specific occasions like “Anniversary bouquet”.

Urgent Conversions
Bidding aggressively on near-me searches such as “Same-day flower delivery near me” to capture last-minute buyers.

“The start of 2026 shows that the growth we saw last year wasn’t just a fluke. In the first quarter alone, we brought in $28,404 in conversion value with a massive ROI of 16. Even as we scale, the conversion rate is holding strong at 9.4%, proving the traffic we’re bringing in is exactly the right audience.”
