How Showcase Jewellers Te Awamutu Used RBP Funding to Spark Serious Digital Growth

Let’s talk about what happens when a local business leans into the power of digital, and gets the right support to do it well.

Kirsty from Showcase Jewellers Te Awamutu knows a thing or two about beautiful jewellery- but when it came to digital marketing, she wanted expert support. That’s where the Regional Business Partner (RBP) Network came in. And spoiler alert: it paid off in a big way.

Getting Started with RBP Support

Kirsty started working with Daisy Digital a few years ago thanks to RBP funding, which helped cover the cost of getting their Google advertising up and running, and gave their website a much-needed glow-up.

This kind of foundational work is what sets businesses up for long-term success online, making sure they’re being seen, their site actually works (and looks great!), and every dollar of ad spend is going further.

From Funded Sessions to Ongoing Growth

But they didn’t stop there.

Kirsty has continued with monthly Zoom training sessions to keep building her digital skills, plus a mix of in-person and online workshops to stay sharp as the online space keeps evolving.

While a lot of this has been partially subsidised, Kirsty also made the choice to keep investing even without funding, because the return? Worth it.

As she puts it:

“It truly feels like having a marketing expert as part of our team.”

Real Results (Without the Marketing Mumbo Jumbo)

This isn’t just about ticking boxes or doing what everyone says you should be doing online. It’s about real results like:

  • A stronger online presence

  • Increased website traffic

  • Better engagement with customers

  • And yes, more sales

It’s proof that when you combine expert support with the willingness to learn and invest in growth, magic happens (well… marketing magic, anyway).

Hear from Kirsty herself:

“We’ve been working with Daisy Digital Marketing for several years now, initially through RBP funding. This support allowed us to set up and refine our Google advertising, as well as upgrade and maintain our website for Showcase Jewellers Te Awamutu.

Since then, we’ve continued with monthly Zoom training sessions to strengthen our digital presence, along with attending both in-person and online training courses. While much of this training has been partially subsidised, often covering 50% to 75% of the costs, we’ve also chosen to invest in ongoing sessions ourselves. Even without RBP funding, the training remains incredibly valuable and cost-effective for our business. It truly feels like having a marketing expert as part of our team.

The impact has been significant. Our online presence has grown significantly, leading to more website traffic, better customer engagement, and ultimately, more sales. And there’s still plenty of room for further growth! The digital space is always evolving, so continuing to refine our strategy and stay ahead is a priority for us.”

What We Love About This Story

Kirsty’s journey is a reminder that:

  • You don’t have to do it all yourself

  • RBP funding is a great way to kickstart digital growth without breaking the bank

  • The right training and support can become a long-term part of your business success

There’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to marketing, but if you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just ready to level up, we’re here to help.
