How to delete “Powered by Shopify” in only 4 easy steps!

Want to get rid of that ugly “Powered by Shopify” from the footer of your Shopify site?

NB: This tutorial is for sectioned themes, if you are not sure if you have a sectioned theme go to the theme > edit code. If you see files under the sections directory then you are using a sectioned theme.

Here is how to delete the “Powered by Shopify” in only 4 easy steps!

Edit your theme’s language settings.

 

1. Go to your Shopify admin, and click online store > themes

2. Find the theme you want to edit and click actions > edit languages

3. Use the filter translations box at the top type the word “powered” into the search box

4. Find the “Powered by Shopify” box and type in a single space. When you do this the text in the box will disappear.

5. Click Save

And just like that it is gone!
